...from a voice student. "I have studied with Linda Morrow at ScottSound Music for many years now. Linda is an insightful, experienced voice coach who has an inimitable method. She is able to hear exactly what is needed to continue to improve my singing ability and then communicate in such a manner that I'm able to understand and make the correction on the spot. My choir director said that I was one of only a handlful of members, out of 100 singers, who improved dramatically from one re-audition to the next. I attribute it all to my study with Linda Morrow at ScottSound Music". ...Susan T.
...from a clarinet, violin and guitar student. "Scott is a patient teacher and my son looks forward to his weekly lessons.Scott plays so many different instruments that my son has been able to learn the clarinet and guitar, and experiment with the violin without my having to search for a new teacher"...Mom of a Teenager
...from a guitar student. “I have been a guitar student at ScottSound Music for more than 10 years and have taken lessons from both Bevy Boyer and Scott Whitfield. As an adult student, I knew they'd need teaching methods that were different from those that work for kids and they have both been able to help me despite all the distractions and interruptions that come from life as an adult with job, family and home responsibilities. I enjoyed my individual instruction but have really had fun with the opportunity they provide to learn and play with other adults. I'll never be a professional musician, but that's not why I wanted to learn guitar. I wanted to have fun and to get a chance to do something artistic and creative - and they continue to help me realize both of those goals.”...R.D.
...from a voice and piano student. "Our daughter started taking singing lessons at Scottsound Music at the age of 3. Now she's 8. She has made a lot of progress and is excited to go to each lesson. Her teacher (Linda) has been great working with her, and got her interested in playing piano too. We are very happy to see our daughter excel in something she loves."...Wendi & Howard K.
...from a guitar student. “I have been attending guitar classes at ScottSound Music for several years. The classes are one-on-one, so learning is tailored to the individual. This makes learning in my opinion faster, and mistakes in technique are quickly spotted and corrected. My instructor Bevy has a degree in music and really understands the nuances of the subject; this coupled with the fact that she is a darn fine instructor. Some people have mastery of a subject or profession and do not know how to import this knowledge to others; however, Bevy really has a fantastic instruction style, very much in pace (I wanted to say in-tune, but that would just be such a bad pun) with a student's capabilities and learning speed. But best of all, if you do not understand a certain technique and just "cannot get it", she has a fantastic way of teaching you how. This has been a HUGE help, and is probably the best part of taking lessons, you REALLY learn something and can improve every week.”
“I cannot say enough good about ScottSound Music, they are flexible with class times and scheduling, they are really nice people who love music and their price structure is fair. That and they will also pair you up for playing with others in a band or ensemble, which is vastly important as a learning tool. All-in-all, a great experience. ScottSound Music is highly recommended.”...James F.
