Scott's musical style stems from his extensive
background in jazz, blues, country and rock music. His music transcends time. His guitar and vocal work bring to life the
rock and country of the 70's. His hard swinging rhythm guitar and banjo style bring the jazz standards of the swing era to
the listener in a new and refreshing way. His use of new grooves in old tunes open up new horizons of the listening experience.
Scott's originals earned him a nomination for the "Trailblazer Award" from Airplay International in Nashville, TN.
In 1995 he was named a "Texas Tornado" and performed at his induction ceremony at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas, TX joining
the company of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.
