Bevy has a Bachelor of Music degree in guitar performance from Utah State University. She received the USU Guitar Player of the Year Award in 1987.
   

Bevy teaches private guitar students, both children and adults, at ScottSound Music full-time, Monday through Friday. She teaches group ensembles of selected students on guitar and mixed instruments at specially scheduled times throughout the year. 

She has been teaching since 1985, and at ScottSound Music since 1987.
   Bevy is the Studio Manager at ScottSound Music.
